1. What Bharat Ledger provides

Bharat Ledger helps you organise account, transaction, statement and related financial-record information. It is a record-keeping and analysis tool. It is not a bank, broker, payment service, chartered accountant, tax adviser, investment adviser, or legal adviser.

You remain responsible for checking imported information, maintaining source documents, making classification decisions, and obtaining professional advice where required.

2. Your account and information

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

You must only upload or enter information that you are authorised to use. Do not upload another person's confidential financial information without the necessary authority.

3. Financial records and professional review

Imported and decoded records can contain omissions, source-statement errors, or classifications that require review. Reconciliations, reports, categories, money trails, and CA working papers are tools to support your review; they are not statutory accounts, tax returns, audit opinions, or a substitute for professional advice.

Before filing a return, making an investment decision, or relying on a report for a legal or tax purpose, obtain advice from a qualified professional where appropriate.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, or use it in a way that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law.

5. Changes and availability

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We may update these Terms from time to time; the date above will show the latest version.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you.
